Kitchen Sink, Last Gasp, Rip Off, Tits & Clits, Zap (22 vintage sex comics, 1969-81)
California: Various Publishers, 1969-81. Collection of 22 vintage sex comics featuring art by R. Crumb, Bill Griffith, Robert Williams, Joyce Farmer & Lyn Chevli, S. Clay Wilson, Trina Robins, Gary Panter, and the nuts at Kitchen Sink and Last Gasp, noted small-press publishers of progressive, dark-humored comics (or "comix"). Underground satire sexual and political, epicenter in San Francisco. Most are titles late in the comix cycle, elements of punk and feminism, and rampant classic 8-pager kitsch.
Outlying sizes are noted, most are approx. 7 x 10.25 in. All with color wrapper, print stated when present. All with light rubbing and spine roll, a few with price stickers, short corner creases. Very Good Plus overall.
