Ten vintage adult magazine featuring nude pictorials, cartoons, fiction, editorials, forum, entertainment reviews, news. B/W/Color throughout, distributed by Kable News, saddle-stapled (early issues side-stapled). Ran 1955-2006, A-list authors early, eventually pornographic layouts, photography strong to the end, early issues noted for textiles cover photos of animal fur, leather work, and fine art close-ups. Also published Gent, Cavalier, Dude in 1970s. Included: December 1956, January 1957, May 1957, August 1957, April 1962, June 1964, March 1972, April 1978, August 1978, February 1980. Highlights: Robert Bloch, Ben Hecht, Theodore Pratt, Charles Williams, Simone Auger, V.S. Pritchett, Russ Meyer, Linda Gordon, Wil Blanche, Nona Van Tosh, Eva Lynd, Otis Sweat, jazz, drugs. An impressive scope of the magazine from slick sophisticate to behind the counter.
