New York native Barbara Nichols (1929-76) is a house favorite hard-boiled era pinup, appearing on countless covers, in numerous layouts, even tiny ads, active 1940s-1970s, main 1950s. Not altogether bubbly, but with near-perfect complexion, captivating stare, & well-toned dimensions 37-24-35. Barbara was a dancer, an actress, a beauty contest winner, who never really rivaled Marilyn Monroe, but then, never had to. Nichols always made smart moves, it seems, & her confidence as a model is attractive & magnetic at once.
