Highlighting variances in international press, two complimenting photographs of the tall Swedish blonde in her most memorable role.
 
In an Italian photograph, a candid shot, exclaiming gleefully in black dress, hands in the air. "Roman Press Photo" rubberstamp, & brief ink notation, on the verso. Rubberstamp somewhat faded, no photographer credited, no date but circa 1960. 7 x 9.25 inches. Near Fine, a few faint creases & wrinkles. 
 
In the NY photograph, a scene from the film, just before an epic sequence w/ costar Marcello Mastroianni in the Trevi Fountain. Anita racing to the top of St. Peter's Cathedral dome, flanked by two photographers, intensely lit & showcasing legs/heels, same black dress, shash. Fellini's masterwork described by the Bill Doll company as "haunting fresco of contemporary Roman life ... progresses to the depths of degradation." Bill Doll mimeo snipe on the verso, rubberstamped date JUL 25 1961. Ink & pencil notations on the verso. 7.5 x 9.5 inches.
