N.p.: Dawson Publishing Co., 1950s. V1 N7. Vintage nude pinup digest magazine featuring buxom British model & burlesquer, Lee Southern, in heels, hose, garters, in the covers. Also featured is Ann Austin (1p), another popular British model, both posers for glamour photographer Harrison Marks. This issue composed mostly of brunettes, w/ a few pages of images cropped to emphasize silky fashion waist to foot. 
 
Hundreds of similar digest magazines were produced by fly-by-night operations, mainly around New York, notably Burmel Publishing (Lenny Burtman's enterprise). Many were published as photography and/or art "studies" booklets, w/ technical camera data, exposure chart, & the standard emphasis on sexual liberation; early issues featured several models per issue & many maintain airbrushing techniques rolled over from nudist magazines, much of the posing naturally obscures otherwise censored areas. Still scarce institutionally. 
 
28pp, 5.25 x 8.25 inches, B/W throughout, color wrapper, saddle-stapled; most of these digests are 32pp. Very Good overall, rubbing, faint creasing.
