Bondage, Fetish, Taboo & More (3-ring binders full of art)
Various cities: Various Publishers, 1980s. Three 3-ring binders, each w/ approx. 100 leaves tear-sheets, illustrations from publications depicting bondage, fetish themes, buxom damsels, obedient submissives, commanding dominants, restraints, apparatuses; from the collection of Andrew J. Offutt, himself a noted pornographer & author. Robert Bishop was a prolific 1970s artist who specialized in glossy-looking latex & leather, rarely depicted pubis/anus, worked for upper-crust smut companies like Parliament News & House of Milan. His iconic works are recognizable almost instantly. The other artists included here, Preston & Dubigeon, are lesser known illustrators, & several leaves appear to be the work of Offutt, who fancied himself an artist in the same vein. Bishop & Dubigeon created full-pg masterpieces, while Preston & Offutt preferred multi-panel comics as the format for their demons to unleash.
Bishop binder, red: approx. 100 leaves, 90% excised from original publications, 10% photographically reproduced, about the same amount are hand-colored by Offutt in Day-Glo style colors; classy.
Preston binder, gray: approx. 125 leaves, a few w/ whiteout/black marker edits, most appear photographically reproduced but presumably original as published by Preston, who worked mostly on commission, it appears; "clients" would come up w/ a story or idea, he would illustrate for them in either full-pg or multi-panel; for strong stomachs.
Dubigeon binder, black: approx. 69 leaves, of which 31 are Dubigeon, photographically reproduced on original stock, as issued; 38 leaves are uncredited but appear to be in Offutt's hand, based on a primitive computer program he used to design buxom warriors; several w/ similar crude edits.
Overall, a collection worthy of an idle adult w/ a box full of high quality markers. Binders w/ light foxing & handling, leaves w/ edge foxing, a few tears & creases, toning. Very Good overall. For mature, consenting audiences.
