New York: Pyramid Books, 1965. Eight vintage paperbacks, TV tie-in editions featuring Anne Francis as Honey West, one of the first female private detectives of popular fiction. Francis portrayed West in the ABC series, 30 episodes in all, 1965-66. Each paperback present shows Francis on the front & rear panels as Honey, in classic black body-length dress, tiny .32 pistol, and ocelot (photos: Four Star Television), w/ scenes from the show on the front. While not of traditional painted cover art, like the first editions of these titles, these later reprints are just as cool, bringing to life the painted Honey of earlier editions. These often scarcer. Ficklings wrote 11 titles in the series.
