Imaginative Sex (First Edition, Offutt's copy, signed by Norman, 1974)
New York: Daw Books, 1974. UJ1146, $1.95 cover price, 269pp [272]. First Edition, paperback original, not a Gor book but following similar philosophy, and a "handbook" for sexual fulfillment. Cover art by One Plus One Studios. From the estate of Andrew J. Offutt, with his brief highlighting and notations throughout, and briefly inscribed to him by the author on the title page in holograph ink. Laid in is an excised matchbook cover from "People's Bank" in Morehead, Kentucky, where the Offutt's lived. Offutt was an avid science fiction author noted for "Conan"-themed fantasies, debuted as a published writer in 1951, and wrote 100s of erotic novels pseudonymously as John Cleve, Turk Winter, John Denis, Jeff Morehead, Opal Andrews, among others. The "Spaceways" series is perhaps his ultimate collaboration between science fiction and erotica. Most institutions without personal material. Very Good, moderate foxing, slight lean, spine creases.
