Jackie Miller (3 vintage adult pinup digest magazines, 1950s)
New York: A-B-S / Liberty Dist. / Pearlite, 1950s. Three vintage adult digest magazines featuring pinup model Jackie Miller, seen here in photographic studies wearing heels, hose, garters, elegant gloves, jewelry, studio sessions, several nearly nude poses. Miller was an East Coast native born early 1930s, lanky redhead w/ dimensions 40-26-38, appeared throughout the magazine market of the mid 1950s, would eventually do some noteworthy photo sessions w/ the Klaw siblings, often posing as a dominatrix in leather w/ whip.
Hundreds of similar digest magazines were produced by fly-by-night operations, mainly around New York, it seems. Early issues maintain airbrushing techniques rolled over from nudist magazines, but much of the posing naturally obscures otherwise censored areas. Still scarce institutionally.
