Mark of the Master (First Edition)
New York: Stanton Archives, 1980. First Edition, first printing, quarto softcover magazine, saddle-stapled, 44pp unnumbered, b/w throughout. Vintage magazine, adult erotic illustration and fiction. From the estate of author Offutt, noted eroticist and science-fiction/fantasy author, wrote 100s of erotic novels under pseudonyms John Cleve, Turk Winter, John Denis, Opal Andrews, etc.; Winter was a name attached to more violent novels, including the "Blunder Broad" comics series he produced with Eric Stanton.
This issue was distributed by Harmony Communications, with their logo on the front; producers of hundreds of bondage magazines and videos. Offutt as Winter invokes occult and secret society-dungeon themes, replicating many of his paperback originals, rampant with B/D/S/M and role-playing scenarios, and bits of Satanic worship. DeMullotto (sometimes Di Mulato) also did paperback covers, like Bizarre Library.
Very Good Plus, foxing, a few tiny tears, spine stress. For consenting, mature audiences.
