Hackensack, NJ: Palmer Brothers Co., 1949. Full-color nude pinup "artist's sketch pad" calendar for the year 1949, featuring artwork by Freeman Elliot [Elliott]. The artist was best known for his work for Brown and Bigelow (St. Paul, MN) during the few years around this calendar. His women are lithe and leggy, and have a natural look. This example was produced for the car shop Palmer Brothers Co. in Hackensack, NJ. About 9 x 14 inches, credited to Elliott on the front. January-December present.
