New York: Various Publishers, 1950s. First Editions/printings, softcover 12mo, stapled, about 32pp, b/w t/o, color wrappers. Vintage adult pocket-sized magazines featuring glamour photography of nude and seminude women, often in lingerie, robes, high heels, and these issues designed more like newsstand magazines, with title banners, cover prices, and issue numbers, when those qualities are usually dismissed by most underground publishing. Very Good overall, faint rubbing and toning, a few short creases, with one issue Good only. For mature, consenting audiences.
 
Hundreds of similar slightly larger digest magazines were produced by fly-by-night operations beginning in the 1950s, mainly around New York, many by Burtman. Earlier digest examples maintained airbrushing techniques rolled over from nudist magazines, much of the posing naturally obscuring otherwise censored areas. Nearly all were packaged as "figure studies" for the art or photography enthusiast. These issues are somewhat scarcer than the standard digests.
