[Dolmai, Rosa aka Eve Eden]
 
Presenting: Eve Eden / Rosa Delmi (2 vintage adult pinup digest magazines, 1950s)
 
New York: Dawson Publishing / Sheba Pub., 1950s. Two vintage adult digest magazines, featuring seminude models posing & emphasizing their natural assets, in heels, hose, garters. Both issues showcase Eve Eden (Rosa Dolmai). Dolmai was popular late 1950s-60s model & dancer, known as Rosa & as Eve Eden. She later bleached her stark hair, briefly keeping her natural color as she transformed from Rosa to Eve. She later starred in "The Beauty Jungle" )1964), cast as an extra in the Beatles' "Help" (1965). Notable British/Portuguese model enjoyed her limelight.
 
Hundreds of similar digest magazines were produced by fly-by-night operations, mainly around New York, it seems. Many similar examples maintained airbrushing techniques rolled over from nudist magazines, much of the posing naturally obscures otherwise censored areas. Nearly all were packaged as "figure studies" for the art or photography enthusiast. Still scarce institutionally. 
 
Presenting: Eve Eden (single session, same costuming throughout, earrings, satin, couches); 
Rosa Delmi (16pp, lace panties, infamous brick wall shots: the same seen under Rosina Revelle for "Champagne" magazine, Lorraine Burnett 9pp bamboo background, unknown buxom model rear/9pp, presumed Valerie Williams).
 
Each 32pp, color wrapper, B/W throughout, 5.25 x 8.25 inches (Ns2-3). Very Good Plus overall, light rubbing, price notations. Two different publishers stated, but production, photography, design almost identical, & both w/ cover blurb "The Magazine for Artists and Photographers."
