This volume likely amateurly produced to capitalize on the scandal of the first edition, the infamous sleaze paperback by an alleged ex-cop about corrupt cops, notable for being the only one of seven books found to be "obscene, lewd, lascivious and filthy" (even though the book contains 0 dirty words) by a jury in Federal Court in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1963. An original manuscript of the novel is held in the Special Collections at Southern University Illinois, and Aday's archive is held at California State University, Fresno. Both 1959 and 1967 (second "Special Edition") editions are scarce, this volume only recently coming to light. 4.75 x 7 inches, small digest, stapled, photographically reproduced.
