First Editions, paperback originals, 12mo softcover, 1.95c cover price, distributed by IMD, 160pp, perfect-bound, color wrappers, torch silhouette logo. 20 vintage paperbacks, adult erotic novels. Torch Reader published by same outfit behind Saturn Novels, Regal Novels, and Mask Reader. Great uncredited cover art throughout the series, early issues feature photo covers, black frame, later issues lose the thick black frames and showcase compelling painted art, in a few different wrapper colors per year. Series saw several design changes, and after a brief "pink period" mirroring its popular competitor Liverpool Library Press, resorted to their former lively presentation. Ran 1971-73, close to 70 titles, none with any internal advertising for other publisher titles. Highlights: Ass Ways, Lust Terror, Rosemary, Hot for Cash, Chain Letter, Lust Ranch, and The Flesh Eaters. Very Good Plus, most with light rubbing, slight lean, 6 with spine creases, about half slightly lesser condition. For consenting, mature audiences, a foundational collection.
