Indianapolis, IN: TV News Co., 1956. V7 N26, Decemer 29, 1956. Vintage digest television magazine dedicated to TV programs & scheduled listings in the greater Indianapolis area, featuring Greta Thyssen in white heels on the front, painting a 1957 sign from a rope swing. Danish & bubbly, Thyssen appeared in "The Adventures of Hiram Holliday" series ten days prior (December 19), would go on to star in other series, like "Dragnet," "Perry Mason," & films "Bus Stop" (as Monroe's body double), "The Beast of Budapest" (1958), even a cameo in Cassavetes' "Shadows" (1959). Issue also features James Dean, Charlton Heston, Ida Lupino (vignettes). Capitol City Supply Co., & Wiedemann Brewery ad rear panel. A cool collection-worthy item for Thyssen-ists.
 
Similar television magazines were produced all over the US, termed "pre-nationals," or before national TV magazines like "TV Guide"  were prominent.
 
5.5 x 8.25 inches, color wrapper, B/W throughout, 35pp, saddle-stapled. Very Good Plus, one signature loose, light rubbing.
